Over 20 years in IT has a way of teaching you things no certification can. I started at the helpdesk in 2009 as the person who picked up the phone when something broke, and worked my way up through enterprise infrastructure, multi-site operations, and eventually into cybersecurity. That ground-up path means I understand every layer of a business's technology, not just the security layer on top.
Today I work as a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist at a Vancouver-based MSP, supporting organizations across construction, engineering, mining, food services, and more. I've responded to live breaches, rebuilt security postures from scratch, and helped businesses go from a 20% security score to above 75%, and watched those same clients never want to go back to how things were.
TriOps is how I take that same level of attention and bring it directly to smaller businesses who deserve it. You get me: someone who knows your setup, shows up when something's wrong, and has a full team of specialists behind me when the job calls for it.
